Hi, I’m Daniele, a filmmaker and travel enthusiast. I’ve been passionate about Japan since I was a child, when I first encountered anime and manga. I was captivated by the country’s unique culture and history, and I dreamed of one day visiting.
My dream came true in 2006, and I traveled to Japan for the first time. I was immediately captivated by the country, and I knew that I had to come back. I’ve since made several trips to Japan, and I’ve explored the country extensively.
I started this website to share my knowledge and experiences with others. I hope to offer a personal and exclusive point of view on Japan that will help you discover new things, cultures, places and useful information to travel in this incredible country.
I’ll be writing about everything from the best temples and shrines to the most hidden gems off the beaten path, passing by cultural aspects and folklore. I’ll also be sharing tips on where to stay, eat, and shop. And of course, I’ll be including plenty of photos and videos to help you get a feel for the country.
I’m also a photographer and videographer, and I’m always looking for new ways to capture the beauty of Japan. Through my photos and videos I want to inspire you to visit the country and experience its unique culture for yourself.
